To The Glass Hill

This is where country logic meets metropolitan problems in whatever style or genre of writing I feel like at the time.

This is where lyrics are put down that reflect the emotions of the more emphatic people among us. Some are semi-autobiographical, others are not.

This is where flash and short stories are put down for your reading enjoyment. They run the gamut of genres, so people with differing tastes can find something enjoyable to them.

This is where marketing copy is put down, and updated as needed, to serve as a resume’ of my writing abilities. The articles also serve as a timeline of what was important to society and when. A mirror to the past when the future gets farther ahead.

This is where you can go to read when you tire of reading things that have to be constructed in certain ways, lean in certain directions or push an agenda.

This is where words are written straight from the mind to the computer, without thought as to who will be offended, inspired or moved to act and think in a different way. These are my thoughts and opinions, unobstructed by what others expect for whatever reason. Many people, present company included, are tired of reading what may or may not be true based on the fact that it is biased in some way.

This is where the issues broadcast on national news programs meet the localized, and more personal, versions of current events. Where words are written as opinion that asks only that the reader form his or her own, unique opinion.

This is where the writing gets better over time, which you can see as it happens. Each subtle advancement, like the current editing of this piece, is like a new chapter. Like a new neighborhood being built in the valley that is overseen by that Glass Hill.

Like the new road that has recently been finished helps lead to……..the Glass Hill.
